I have been researching my family history for a number of years but the conventional family tree sites are limited to producing just dates and events linked to censuses and the like. What I wanted to do was to chronicle some of the stories that I had discovered during the quest for my ancestors. My family history would not merit a slot on TV’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” as there are no Royal lines or any other famous people that I have found; but there are a number of characters whose stories are worth sharing.
The site is structured from the top eight families on the above family tree, each person being accessed from the top menu with other stories and documents being linked where relevant.
This is very much a work in progress and I will update it with new people and stories as time goes on. I would welcome any input from readers that can throw more light on any of the families.
